Blackberry Versions 

Blackberry operating system is manufactured by blackberry Limited. The Blackberry OS can be used by third party under blackberry certification for professional user of research in motion (RIM) currently Offer email services to third parties . BSCESC ( BB certified Enterprise  Server consultant), BCSST (BB certified server support technician), CSTR (BB certified support technician) are 3 Technical certificate of blackberry. Identification number that is  8 character (Hexadecimal) PIN is assigned to BB devices tracked by BB Enterprise Server and BB internet service. In 2013 the PIN replaced by BB ID in BB10. 

      MID 1.0, MID 2.0 are corporate email addresses wireless activation and sync with Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange and support WAP 1.2 Operating System.

                        OTASL (over the air software loading ) service allow the user to update operating  system automatically.

The first Pager Blackberry S80 was released with Blackberry1.0 version MOS in 1999. In 2002, Blackberry 3.6 version MOS was released in Blackberry S810 Smartphone.

Blackberry 5.0 version MOS runs in Blackberry Bold 9000 and blackberry Smartphones in 2008. Blackberry 6.0 version MOS was released by RIM in Blackberry devices in 2010. 

In 2011, Blackberry 7.0 version was released and this MOS runs various blackberry Smartphone such as Blackberry Bold 9900/9930, BB curve 9350/9360/9370/9380, and blackberry Torch 9810/9850/9860. These devices various features like Qwerty keyboard, track wheel, track ball etc.

In starting of 2012, company released BB10 version available in new models of blackberry. This version contain various new features such as Wifi Hotspot, FM radio. QNX is also BB operating system that runs on BB tablets.

Blackberry 800 Series 

Version 4.5 => This OS version is runs on platform of 8100, 8800, series. BB curve 8300/8310/83120 models. 

Version 4.6 => OS version was runs on platform of blackberry Pearl Flip. 8700 and pearl flip are based on 312 MHz Processor. ARMX scale, ARMV5TEPX900 and Browse Edge Network BB 8707 model is based on 80Hz processor ( Qualcomm 3250 Chipset) Meant browse 3G web pages. BlackBerry 950 model is based on Intel 80386 Processor.

Version 5.0 => BB OS version 5.0 was runs on Platform of Blackberry Curve 8330/8350i/8520/8530/8900 devices. The BB curve 8520 based on 512MHz Processor this versio support BB 8000 series Models of BB mobile devices.

This version released on Aug 2008 in BB Bold 900 series models and features was shrunk with 9700 model relesed in 2009. 9650 and 9780 was released in 2010 with OS6

Version 6 

The 9650 model with version 6 was released on 23 May 2010. 9650 model is also known as Love to be Bold and 528 MHz processor.

BB Bold 9780 Series 

 Released in Nov 2010 with High data devices smartphone. the features are 3.2MP camera, 256 MB on board memory.

BlackBerry 7 Series

 Released on 3 Aug 2010 with BB OS 7

1. Support HTML5.

2. NFC ( near feild communicate)

3. Graphics and universal voice search.

4. Improved web Browser and gaming experience.

On 9 Jan 2012 BB os 7.1 was announced with WIFI tethering, UMA calling and BB tag.

Blackbery Bold 9900/9930 .

It also known as " Dakotas/Monata".

Blackberry10  

It is a closed source Proprietory software related to QNX OS family. It was released on 30 Jan 2013 and based on real time Micro-kernel, C, C++, HTML5, Adobe Air programming language was used. In April 2011 BB tablet OS, BB play book was released based on QNX.

The two model of BB devices are Z10 (Touchscreen) and Q10 ( Physical Keyboard) was released with Blackberry 10 Operating System.
